If you’re driving down the Jalna-Beed Road in Ambad, you might see us near the Maratha Dhabajalna. Maksarad Agrotech Producer Company Limited is located at House Number 30/3/13. It’s a good location because there’s always people passing by. We started this company because we wanted to do more for the local agrotech scene. It’s not a polished corporate office. It’s just a place where we get together to figure out the business side of farming. We deal with all sorts of things, from equipment to selling what the members grow. Being near the road means it’s easy for folks to drop in and have a tea while we talk about the season. We don't go for any of that fancy marketing language. We just speak plain English and tell it like it is. Some years are better than others, and that’s just the reality of agriculture. We’re a bunch of local people trying to make a difference for ourselves and our neighbors. The office can get a bit cluttered with samples and paperwork, but we know where everything is. We don’t have a big mission statement or anything like that. We just wake up, go to the office or the fields, and do what needs doing. It’s a simple life, but it’s meaningful to us.
