Bhaveshagro Farmer Producer Company Limited

Our group is based right here in Bhagoor, which is part of Vaijapur. Sandip Chavan is one of the main people here and his house, number 166, is where we keep all our records and meet. It’s a regular house in the village, nothing fancy at all. We are mostly busy with our own land throughout the day, but we make time to gather and talk about Bhaveshagro. In this part of Aurangabad, the land can be tough if the monsoon isn't strong. We grow what we can, usually cotton or some grains, depending on what the season looks like. We aren't trying to be some huge company that you see on TV. We are just local guys who realized that buying supplies and selling our harvest is easier if we do it as a group. Last month we spent a lot of time discussing the price of diesel and how it affects the tractors. It’s those kinds of everyday problems we try to solve together. The dust here in Bhagoor gets everywhere during the summer, but we are used to it. We just wanted a way to make the farming life a bit more stable for our families. There are no fancy speeches here, just honest talk about farming and the weather. We hope that by staying together, we won't get pushed around as much by people who don't understand how hard we work.
