M K Enterprise is located in the middle of the APMC market in Vashi. Specifically, we are at F-34, Market-1. If you know Phase-Ii, you know it’s a chaotic place most days. We start really early here, sometimes before the sun is even up, because that’s when the market is most alive. There’s always the sound of people shouting and trucks backing up. It’s dusty and loud but we like the energy of the place. We deal with a lot of different traders every day. Our office isn't really an office in the traditional sense, it’s more like a storage space with a small desk tucked in the corner. We spend most of the day on our feet, checking quality or talking to the laborers. The floor is usually covered in bits of hay or plastic from the crates. It’s a lot of physical work and the phone never stops ringing. Sector-19 is a busy spot and we’ve been part of it for years. We don't use big words to describe what we do. We buy and sell, and we make sure the numbers add up at the end of the day. Sometimes we stay late to finish the accounts while the market finally quiets down. It’s a simple life of trading. We just focus on the day-to-day tasks and getting the inventory moved. Our tea breaks are usually standing up near the loading dock.
