Lokmanya Hindi Secondary School

If you know Nalasopara, you know how crowded it gets, especially around Ward No 18. That is where we are, right in the middle of everything in Thane. Our school is a Hindi secondary medium place, and we have been here in the M. Council area for quite some time now. It is always a bit noisy outside with the traffic and the people moving about, but the students are used to it by now. The building is a bit old and we are always trying to fix something, whether it is a leaky pipe or a door that won't shut right. We do not have a massive playground or anything like that, just enough space for the kids to line up for the morning assembly. Most of the families around here are working hard, and their kids come to us for their studies. You will see the teachers walking from the station or getting off rickshaws in the morning. We do not have fancy air conditioning or polished floors. It is just wooden benches and blackboards. We spend a lot of time just keeping things organized with so many students coming in and out. It is a busy life here in Palghar district. We have parents dropping by to check on their kids or ask about fees, and we just talk to them plainly. There is no big reception desk, just a small office where we keep all the records in old wooden cupboards.
