Lian Fashions Pvt. Ltd.

We are located over at Patlipada, in the Nisarg Tapovan building. We occupy units 003 and 004 on the lower floor. Lian Fashions Pvt. Ltd. is where we spend the bulk of our time, surrounded by fabric, thread, and half-finished garments. It’s a bit of a maze inside with all the racks and cutting tables. The light coming through the windows in the morning is actually quite nice for matching colors. We aren't some big fashion house with a runway; we're a private limited company doing the actual work of making clothes. Some days are loud with the sewing machines going all at once, and other days it’s quiet while we do the handwork or sorting. The Patlipada area has changed a bit since we moved in, but our routine stays pretty much the same. We come in, check the patterns, and get to it. Sometimes the deliveries are late and we have to stay a bit longer to catch up, but nobody really complains. It’s just part of the garment trade. We drink a lot of chai and talk about the designs while we work. It’s a practical space for practical people. If you drop by, you’ll likely see piles of cloth everywhere and a few of us scratching our heads over a difficult seam. It’s just how it goes here at Nisarg Tapovan. We are just a group of people making things.
