Kusumchandra Damodar & Co.

Our place is at A-21 in the Khairne MIDC area, right along the Thane-Belapur Road. It’s an industrial spot, so it’s all about warehouses and trucks moving in and out all day long. Kusumchandra Damodar & Co. has been operating out of this unit for quite a while. We deal with the kind of work that involves a lot of heavy lifting and careful counting. It’s dusty and noisy because of the location, but that’s just the nature of being in the MIDC. We don’t have any fancy carpets or air-conditioned lobbies. We have a desk, some chairs, and a lot of stock. Most of our day is spent making sure orders are filled correctly and that the loading bay is clear. We’ve seen other businesses come and go on this road, but we’ve managed to stick around by just staying focused on the job. Our workers are local folks who know the area well. We don’t go in for big speeches or polished presentations. We just show up, do the work, and go home. If there’s a problem, we fix it ourselves. It’s a simple way of doing things, but it works for us. The Thane-Belapur Road is always jammed with traffic, but we’ve learned how to time our deliveries to avoid the worst of it. We’re just a solid part of the industrial landscape here. We keep our heads down and get the boxes out on time.
