Krishna Creation

Our place is Krishna Creation and we are located in the New Textile Market at A18 in Kandivali East. If you know Mumbai, you know how busy the textile markets can get. It is always crowded with people moving rolls of cloth and trucks loading up outside. Our unit is just one of many, but we have our own way of doing things. The air is always a bit dusty with lint from the fabrics. We have several machines running, so there is a constant hum in the background. It is not a place for a quiet conversation, that is for sure. We spend most of our day checking on orders and making sure the pieces are coming out right. The space is filled with stacks of material and half-finished work. It is a bit chaotic, but we like it that way. We don't have a receptionist or a waiting room. If you come by, you just walk right into the middle of the work. We usually have lunch together on one of the large cutting tables. It is a very hands-on environment. We have been in Kandivali for a long time and we know the other shop owners around here. It is a tight-knit community in the market. We don't worry about being fancy or polished. We just focus on getting the clothes made and sent out on time to whoever needs them.
