Kouki-The Finishing School

If you are looking for Shop No 4, you will find us right there in Azad Nagar. We are part of the building on Link Road in Goregaon West. Mumbai 400104 is a busy place to be. Kouki-The Finishing School operates out of this small space. You can hear the traffic from Link Road all day long. It never really stops. People are always rushing to the station or heading towards the malls. Our shop is just one of many in this row. It is not very big, but we make it work for what we need to do. The door is usually open if the weather is okay. We see a lot of people walking past our front window. Some of them look in, others are just busy on their phones. Goregaon West has changed a lot over the years with all the new construction. But here at Shop No 4, we stay pretty consistent. It is a bit of a squeeze when we have many people inside. The finishing school has its own rhythm. We don't have a big sign or anything too loud. Just a regular spot in Azad Nagar. It gets a bit messy with the papers and supplies sometimes, but that’s just how it goes. You get used to the noise of the rickshaws outside. It becomes like background music after a while. We are just here doing our thing every day.
