Computech Education

If you come down to Post Dunge in the Bhiwandi District, you will find Computech Education. It’s a small setup where we teach people how to use computers and understand different software programs. We aren't a big university or some fancy tech institute with thousands of students. It’s mostly just a single room with several rows of PCs and some chairs that have seen better days. The power goes out more than we’d like, so we always have to be ready to save our work or wait for the generator to kick in. Most of our students are from the local area, coming in after their regular school or work to pick up some new skills that might help them later. The room can get pretty crowded and loud when everyone is typing at once, but it’s a good kind of energy. We don’t have a big marketing budget or a shiny website to show off. Most people find out about us just by walking past the building or hearing about it from a neighbor or a friend. The walls have a few posters of keyboard shortcuts and basic tips. We try to keep the equipment running as long as possible because new parts can be hard to find and expensive. It’s a simple operation, run by people who live right here in the taluka. It is rewarding to see someone finally figure out a program they were struggling with. It’s just a local place trying to help people learn something useful.
