Chemstar Corporation

Chemstar Corporation is situated in the Koparkhairane TTC Area. If you know this part of the city, you know it’s mostly factories and warehouses for miles. It’s not the most scenic place to work, with all the dust and the heavy trucks grinding their gears, but it’s where the industry is. We handle a lot of chemical distributions and storage. Our facility is basically a big warehouse with some office space carved out in the front. It can get quite loud during the day when the loading docks are active. Most of us commute from quite far away, so the mornings are usually a bit of a scramble to get everything started on time. We don't have fancy furniture or a coffee machine that makes lattes. It’s mostly just instant tea and old wooden desks. We focus on getting the drums and containers where they need to go without any spills or mistakes. The TTC area has a specific feel to it, very industrial and grey, but it’s practical for what we do. We’ve got a small team here and everyone knows how to handle the equipment. It’s the kind of place where you wear sturdy boots and don't mind getting your clothes a bit dirty. We just take the orders as they come and try to keep the logistics moving smoothly every week without too much fuss.
