Jumboking Vadapav

Our shop is right there in the Rangoli Building over in Kandivali East, specifically at Shop No-8 in Vasant. It’s a busy corner on R C Dutt Road, so there is always someone walking by or stopping for a quick bite. We open up early to get the batter ready and start frying. It gets pretty loud with the traffic outside and the sizzle of the oil, but we don't mind. The space is small, so we have to be organized or we just trip over each other. Sometimes the line gets long and stretches out onto the sidewalk, especially during the evening rush when everyone is heading home from the station. We’ve had the same staff for a bit now, so we know how to handle the busy hours without too much fuss. There’s always a crate of buns being moved or someone cleaning the counters. It’s not a quiet place to sit, it's more about getting your food and moving on. The walls have some scuffs from where people lean while waiting, and the floor needs a good scrub every couple of hours. We just focus on keeping the food coming out fresh. It’s a simple setup on a busy road, nothing more, nothing less. Most of our regulars don't even have to say their order anymore, we just see them coming and know what they want. It’s just a normal day here.
