Jayantilal Laxmichand & Sons

We are located over in Phase-II of the Vashi area, specifically at D-9 in the APMC Kirana Market I. Jayantilal Laxmichand & Sons is a bit of a long name, but most people just know us from seeing us around the market every day. It’s a family kind of thing, and we’ve been here long enough that the walls feel familiar. Vashi is a busy place, especially the kirana market part where everyone is looking for something. Our shop isn't anything special to look at, just a solid place where we store our goods and talk to our regulars. There’s usually some tea going and a lot of talk about the prices or the weather. We don't spend money on fancy decorations or anything like that because it doesn't really matter for what we do. The focus is just on the goods and making sure people get what they came for. Sometimes it’s a bit chaotic with the loaders and the lorries outside, but you get used to that rhythm after a few years. We like being part of the APMC community. It’s a tough environment but it’s fair. We just keep doing what we’ve always done, following the steps my father and his father probably did before us. If you’re walking through the rows in Phase-II, you’ll find us at D-9. We’re usually there sorting through things or writing out orders.
