J K Patil English School is located inside the Dharma Paradise building over in Dhopar Gaon. If you are familiar with Dombivli East, you might know it's a bit of a walk from the main station area. We have been part of this neighborhood for a good while. The school started off quite small and we have grown a bit since then, but it still feels like a local place. Our classrooms are tucked into the building and they are filled with the usual stuff like desks and charts the children have made. It is an English medium school, so we do our best to keep the students speaking and learning in English throughout the day. The teachers mostly live in the surrounding blocks, so they know the families and the local vibe well. We don't have a massive sports field or anything like that, but the kids find space to play during their breaks. The morning starts with a lot of noise as parents drop their kids off on their way to work. Our office is just a simple room where we keep the records and talk to parents about admissions. It is not some high-tech setup, just a regular school office with a lot of files. We focus on the basics and try to make sure every child gets the attention they need. It’s a busy, everyday sort of place that feels like home to many of the local families here.
