Indagro Foods Ltd.

Indagro Foods Ltd. is situated behind the Indian Aluminium plant. We are on the Old Thane Belapur Road in Digha Village. This part of Kalwa is very industrial and there is always a lot of heavy traffic. You can hear the big trucks rumbling by at all hours. Our building is a bit tucked away, so it stays a little quieter than the main road. Digha Village has its own feel, distinct from the busier parts of Thane. We spend our time inside a large warehouse space. It can get quite hot under the metal roof during the summer months. We have a few big fans that help move the air around. Indagro Foods Ltd. has been operating from this location for quite a while now. The walls are painted a dull grey and there are some cracks near the loading dock. We don't worry about it much as long as the work gets done. There is a lot of movement every morning when the shipments come in. We have to be careful with the forklifts in the tight corners. The air outside often smells like exhaust and dust from the construction nearby. We eat our lunch in a small room off to the side. It’s a no-nonsense kind of place. We aren't here for the scenery. Old Thane Belapur Road is just a long stretch of factories and warehouses. We are just one of the many businesses making it work in Kalwa. It keeps us busy.
