Hotel Malwani

We’re located in Morya Society along the Mumbai Pune Road in Kalwa. It’s a high-traffic area since it connects the two big cities. Hotel Malwani is just a small spot here in Thane - 400605. We see a lot of people driving by, and some of them decide to stop for a bit. The road is always loud with trucks and cars, even at three in the morning. We don’t have a fancy lobby or anything like that. It’s just a counter where we keep the register. My brother and I run the place mostly. We take turns sleeping so someone is always around. The rooms are basic, just what you need to rest. We spend our time cleaning up and making sure everything works. Kalwa is a busy place, and being right on the main road means we get a lot of dust. We’re constantly wiping down the windows. It’s hard work, but it’s our business. We don’t have a mission statement or any of that. We just want to make sure the door is open and the rooms are ready for whoever stops by. The neighbors in Morya Society are good people. Sometimes the power goes out during the rains, but we have some lights ready. It’s just a normal day-to-day life here on the Mumbai Pune Road. We’ve been here a long time and don’t plan on going anywhere. It works for us.
