Hotel Amrut Punjab Bar & Restaurant

Hotel Amrut Punjab Bar & Restaurant is located in the Omkar Building on Agra Road. This is right in the middle of Kalyan City, very close to Shivaji Chowk. It’s a busy intersection and there’s always something happening outside. We are right near the Gurudev Hotel as well. We’ve been running this bar and restaurant for a good while. It’s the kind of place where local men come after a long shift to have a drink and some food. The interior is a bit dark, which people seem to like because it stays cool away from the sun. We have separate sections for the bar and for people coming in with their families to eat. The furniture is a bit old-fashioned, but it’s comfortable enough for a few hours. We don't have fancy cocktails or anything like that. It’s mostly just regular drinks and good, spicy food that goes well with them. The kitchen is always busy frying up snacks. You can hear the noise from the street coming in whenever someone opens the front door. We have a few waiters who have been here since we opened. They know the regulars and what they usually order. It’s not a quiet place, especially on Friday nights when everyone is out and about. Agra Road is always jammed with traffic, so we are a convenient stop for people waiting for the rush to die down before they head home.
