Hotel Janki

Our place is called Hotel Janki and you can find us at Janki Niwas in Thane West. We are right there at Tembhi Naka. If you know Thane, you know Tembhi Naka is a landmark of its own. It is always loud and full of energy around here. We have been part of this building for years. It’s a local spot where people come when they need a place to stay in the 400601 area. We don't pretend to be a five-star resort. We are a small hotel in a busy part of town. The stairs can be a bit steep and the hallways are narrow, but that is just the way the building was made. We keep things tidy and make sure the beds are comfortable enough for a good night's sleep. Our staff is mostly local guys who have been here for a long time. We handle the bookings ourselves and we’re usually around if someone has a question. We don't use those complicated computer systems for everything. Sometimes we just write things down in a ledger. It’s more personal that way. We see all kinds of people, from businessmen to families traveling through. We just try to be helpful. There’s no big philosophy behind it. We just run the hotel and hope everyone has a decent stay while they are in Thane. It is a simple business for simple needs.
