Hotel Dragon

I've been here at Shop No 1 on Vrundavan Road for a while now. Most people know the Shreerang Police Chowki, so it's easy to find our place. It gets really busy on this road during the evenings, especially when people are coming home from work. Sometimes the traffic is a bit much, but that's just how Thane West is these days. We keep things very simple here at Hotel Dragon. My family helps out with all the daily work because there is always something to do, like cleaning or talking to guests. You see the same faces every morning, people heading to the station or just walking their dogs. We opened up because we wanted a place for folks to stop and rest. It isn't fancy at all, just a regular spot on the street. We spend a lot of time making sure the chairs are ready and the rooms are tidy. Sometimes the rain makes everything a big mess outside, but inside it stays dry and quiet. We don't have a huge staff, just a few of us working together every day. It feels more like a home than a business most of the time. I usually get here quite early to check the stock and see what needs fixing. It’s hard work, but we like being part of the neighborhood. The police chowki is right there, so it stays safe around here. We don't do big advertisements or anything like that. Most people just walk in.
