You can find us at Golden Star Foods Ltd. over in Heera Colony, right on the Main Road. It’s a central spot so there are always cars honking outside. We have been in this building for a long time. The sign out front has faded over the years, but everyone in the neighborhood knows where we are. We handle basic food items that families use every day. We don't have a big corporate structure. It’s mostly just the owner and a handful of us doing the packing and the deliveries. The floor is made of old concrete and it has a few cracks here and there. We try to keep things as clean as possible, especially since we are dealing with food. We don't have a website or any fancy brochures to show people. If you want to know what we have, you just have to ask. The back room is where the cooling units are kept. They make a constant humming sound that we have all learned to ignore. Sometimes the rain floods the street a bit, making it hard for our small delivery van to get out. We just wait it out. It’s a modest business and we don't have any grand plans to change things. We are happy with how it is, just serving the local area and making a decent living for our staff and their families.
