We are located at Shop No B-9 inside the Srushti Co-Op Housing Society. It is right by Kolbad Naka, pretty much across from the Jagmata Mandir in Thane West. It is a very busy corner, especially during the various temple festivals when the streets get completely crowded with people and stalls. We have been running Food Planet from this little shop for a few years now. It is a convenient spot for the people who live in the housing society to come down and grab what they need for their homes. We stock a lot of different items, mostly the kind of things people use in their kitchens every single day. The space inside is quite small, so we have to be really smart about how we stack the crates and the cardboard boxes. Sometimes the delivery trucks have a hard time parking anywhere near the Naka because the traffic is so heavy. We usually have to run out and help them unload everything as fast as we can so they do not block the road for too long. It is a lot of physical work, but we have gotten used to it over the years. The regulars who live nearby often stop for a long chat while they do their shopping. We do not have any big advertisements or flashy neon signs outside. It is just a simple board that tells people who we are. It is a local business.
