Fashion At Big Bazaar

Being inside the Empress Mall means we are always surrounded by noise. People come into Big Bazaar for their monthly groceries and then end up wandering into our section to look at clothes. It’s a bit of a mix, really. You have families with crying kids and teenagers looking for something cheap to wear on the weekend. We spend half our day refolding shirts that people have tossed around. Dombivli East is a crowded place, and this mall on Manpada Road is where everyone ends up when it’s too hot outside. It gets really crazy on Sundays, especially during those big sales when you can’t even see the floor for all the feet. We aren't trying to be some high-end designer place. It’s just practical clothes for people who live around here. The lighting is bright and the air conditioning is usually working, which is a plus. Our staff is mostly local kids working their first jobs. Sometimes we run out of sizes and have to check the back room, which is a bit of a mess if I'm being honest. It’s just how it goes in a big store like this. You see all sorts of people from across Thane coming through. We just try to keep the racks full and help people find what they need without making a big fuss about it. The walk from the station isn't too bad either.
