Emerald Flavours & Fragrances

We are tucked away in unit 111 of the Jagdish Industrial Estate. It’s on Pokharan Road No-1, right in Vartak Nagar. The first thing you notice when you walk into Emerald Flavours & Fragrances is the smell. It’s always something different. One day it’s like oranges, and the next it’s something floral or maybe spicy. It’s a small place but it’s packed with bottles and jars of all sizes. We spend a lot of time mixing and measuring. It’s more like a kitchen than a factory, really. Vartak Nagar is a busy part of Thane, and the estate has all sorts of businesses, from car repairs to printing. We’ve been in this spot for a while. The walls are a bit stained from all the oils we use, and the desks are cluttered with samples. We don't have a big fancy lobby. You just walk in and someone will probably be busy with a pipette or a scale. It’s a quiet kind of work, very precise. We supply these scents to other companies that make soaps or food. It’s interesting how a few drops can change everything. We just stay focused on the blends. Sometimes the smells get a bit much, and we have to step outside for some fresh air on the main road. It's just us, a few workers, and a whole lot of different aromas. We like the work because it's different every single day.
