Diat Foods (India)

Our place is out in Bhiwandi, specifically in the Paras Nath Complex. We are in units B/6-1 and 2, right along the Mankoli Anjurphata Road. It’s a busy area with a lot of trucks moving in and out all day long. Diat Foods (India) has been operating from here for some time now. We handle a lot of food products, so cleanliness and storage are what we spend most of our time thinking about. The warehouse is pretty big and we try to keep it organized, though it gets crowded when a new shipment arrives. It’s dusty outside on the road, but inside we keep things tight. Most of the staff live nearby, so we’ve become a bit of a local fixture in this industrial patch. We don't have a fancy showroom or anything like that. It’s a working facility where we pack and move goods. If you come by, you’ll likely see us loading or unloading something. The noise from the road is constant, but you get used to it after a while. We aren't doing anything revolutionary, just getting food items to where they need to be. It’s hard work and the hours can be long, especially during the peak seasons. We just keep our heads down and do the job. We have a small kettle in the corner for when someone needs a break. That is about it for our setup.
