Comfylin

Our place is on the second floor of Paresh Complex in Bhiwandi, specifically Gala number 31. If you know this area, you know how busy it gets with all the trucks and people moving goods around. We go by the name Comfylin. It’s not a huge setup, but we make use of every inch of the floor space we have. Getting up to the second floor with heavy rolls of fabric can be a bit of a workout every morning. The stairs are narrow and we are always dodging someone else coming down. Inside, it’s mostly just the sound of sewing machines and the iron steaming. We work mostly with linens and soft fabrics, trying to keep up with the orders that come in. The light isn't always the best in the back corner, so we use some extra lamps there. We eat our lunch together near the window where there's a bit of a breeze. Bhiwandi is a tough place to work because of the dust and the traffic, but we’ve been here at Paresh Complex for long enough that it feels like home. We don't spend much time on decorations or making the place look pretty for visitors. We are too busy keeping the machines running and checking the stitching on the shirts. It’s honest work and it keeps us occupied from morning until late evening. Every day is about moving boxes and staying on top of the production.
