Our office is in A Wing 102/103 within the Parasnath Complex on Dapoda Road. If you know Bhiwandi, you know that Valpada is a hub for moving goods, so there are always heavy vehicles blocking the way. Tirtha Trades Pvt. Ltd. operates from this spot, and it feels very much like a warehouse environment. The walls are a bit scuffed from moving crates around, and the floor is concrete. We don't have fancy lighting, just long tubes that flicker sometimes. It’s a practical space for trading. We spend most of the day on our feet or sitting at some old wooden desks checking invoices. There’s a lot of shouting back and forth to get things loaded correctly. The air is often thick with the smell of cardboard and diesel from the trucks outside. We have a small cooler for water that everyone shares. It gets very dusty during the dry months, so we are always wiping down our monitors and desks. It’s not a glamorous job, but we stay busy from the moment we open the shutters. We usually have a lunch break together where we talk about anything but work. Then it’s back to the loading and unloading until it’s time to head home. The complex is huge, so it took us a while to get used to where everything is located and which shortcut to take.
