A 1 Rice Mart

A 1 Rice Mart is sitting right in Chitrakut Appt, specifically at No. 4 on Plot No. Y3. We are tucked away in Shabhaz Village, which is part of Sector 19 in C. B. D. Belapur. If you know the village area, you know it stays quite busy with people coming and going for their daily groceries. I spend most of my day around bags of rice. There are different types stacked up everywhere—some for everyday cooking and others for special meals. The smell of raw grain is something you get used to pretty quickly. I moved into this spot because it’s a good location for people living in the nearby apartments. It’s not a supermarket, just a regular mart where you can get what you need for the kitchen. I usually have a few regulars who come in every month like clockwork. They know where the different sacks are kept. Sometimes the delivery trucks block the narrow road for a bit, but that’s just how things go in the village. I keep a ledger on the counter to track what's coming in and going out. It’s a simple life running a grain shop. I open up early and stay until the sun goes down. Most people around here call me by name. We just try to keep the stock fresh and the floor swept. It’s been our daily routine for a long time now in Belapur.
