Shreeram Garments

Shreeram Garments is tucked away in Gala No. C-1 on the ground floor. We are right by the Swami Shanti Prakash School in the Dharmaji Patil Colony over in Durga Pada. It’s a residential neighborhood mostly, so it's a bit quieter than being on a main road. We like it that way. The space is small, just a single gala, but we’ve managed to fit all our sewing machines and cutting tables inside. It gets a bit cramped when we have a lot of fabric rolls delivered. The school kids walk past our door every morning and afternoon, and we’ve gotten used to the noise of the playground. We aren't some big clothing factory with hundreds of workers. It’s just a small group of us who know how to handle the machines. We spend most of our time bent over the fabric, making sure the stitches are straight. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to take a break, but we usually make up for it later in the evening. We don't have a storefront with mannequins. People just come to the gala if they need to talk to us about an order. It’s a very local operation and we know most of the people living in Dharmaji Patil Colony. We just focus on the clothes and try to keep our customers happy without any big talk about fashion.
