Varad Food

Varad Food is tucked away in House No. 2-75 at Gala No. 2. We are over in Adivasi Pada, which is on Gandhar Road. If you are coming this way, just look for the Gandheri Bridge; we are pretty close to that. It’s a simple setup we’ve got here. We do a lot of food preparation and cooking in our gala. It’s not a restaurant where you sit down and get a menu. It’s more of a kitchen where we handle orders for the local area. The smell of spices and cooking is always in the air around our house. Being near the bridge means we have people passing by all the time, but mostly we just focus on the work inside. It can get pretty hot in the kitchen, especially in the afternoons, but we keep the fans going and keep moving. We’ve been here in Adivasi Pada for quite a while now. It’s a quiet enough spot once you get off the main road. Most of our ingredients come from the local markets. We don't have any big corporate backing or anything like that. It’s just a family-run kind of thing, making food the way we know how. Varad Food is just a small operation on Gandhar Road, trying to make sure the food tastes good and goes out on time to whoever ordered it. It's nothing fancy, but it keeps us busy every single day.
