Micro Mechanical Works

Micro Mechanical Works is located on the Kalyan Badlapur Road in Buvapada, Ambernath West. Our workshop is MMW 4982 and it’s right opposite the new petrol pump. People usually find us by looking for the Deluxe Carrom Board place nearby; it’s funny because people always mention that carrom board spot twice when they tell you how to get here. It’s a loud area with all the vehicles stopping for fuel and the noise from the road. Inside the shop, there’s always the smell of oil and the sound of machines running. We do a lot of mechanical work here, mostly with metal and parts that need fixing. Our hands are usually dirty by ten in the morning. It’s not a clean office job; it’s hard work on the shop floor. We have some old machines that still work perfectly and a few newer ones too. The space is a bit cramped because we have so many tools and projects going on at once. We don't have a receptionist or anything like that. If you walk in, you’ll just see us working. We stop for tea twice a day, usually sitting on whatever stools or crates are nearby. The heat can get pretty bad in the afternoons since we have a lot of metal around, but we keep the big fans going. It’s just a place where things get made or fixed without any fuss. We’ve been at this spot for a while and everyone knows where that petrol pump is. We keep the doors open for the breeze to come in.
