Ind - Thai Fresh Agro Impex

Being right near the Piranoor border in Shencottah means things are always moving around here. Our place is on Tenkasi Road, and if you’re driving by, you’ll see plenty of activity. We deal with fresh agro products, so everything is about timing. If the produce isn't moving, it’s not good. We spend our mornings checking the quality of what’s coming in from the fields and our afternoons making sure it’s loaded onto the right trucks. The smell of fresh vegetables and fruit is everywhere. It’s a bit of a dusty spot on the main road, and the noise from the traffic never really stops, but we like being in the middle of it all. Working near the border has its own set of challenges with all the regulations, but we’ve been doing it long enough to know the ropes. Our team is just a handful of local people who don't mind getting their hands dirty. We don't have a fancy reception area or anything like that. Usually, you’ll find us out back or on the phone trying to coordinate with the drivers on A. S. Char Street. It’s a lot of physical work and constant checking. We just take it day by day and try to keep the supply chain moving as smoothly as the weather allows. There is always something that needs to be packed or a ledger that needs updating before we head home.
