Out on the Tenkasi Road near the Piranoor border, you’ll find us at Ind-Thai Fresh Agro Impex. Being on A.S. Char Street Main Road gives us a good spot to manage all the trucks and goods coming through. It’s a busy intersection of trade and agriculture. We mostly focus on getting fresh products moved out efficiently. Our days usually start before the sun is fully up, checking the latest arrivals from the nearby farms. It’s not a glamorous job. There’s a lot of mud in the rainy season and a lot of dust when it’s dry. We don't have any big mission statements or corporate goals written on the walls. We just want to make sure the produce stays fresh and the farmers get their stuff sold. The building is just a basic structure that keeps the rain off our heads while we work the phones and handle the billing. It gets loud with the traffic on the border road, but you stop noticing it after a while. Most of the people working here have lived in Shencottah their whole lives, so we know the area well. We just try to be honest in our dealings and keep the business running without any unnecessary drama. It’s a straightforward life, and as long as the crops are growing, we’ll be here doing our part and keeping the ledgers straight.
