Our factory is situated on the H P L Link Road in Basudev Pur. Being in Haldia, we are surrounded by a lot of industry and heavy transport. It’s a very busy area with trucks moving constantly towards the port. We set up Daizy Ns here because the location made sense for transport. The building isn't anything special to look at, just a functional space for our production lines. Inside, it’s quite loud with the hum of the machinery. We have a small office upstairs where we handle the billing and the phone calls. Most of the guys working here are from Purba Midnapur. We’ve known each other for a long time. The shifts can be long, especially when we have a big order to get out. We don’t use any fancy management jargon or have long meetings. We just talk over tea in the morning and get to work. Sometimes the sea breeze reaches us, which is nice in the evening. We keep the place as clean as we can, though the industrial dust is a constant battle. It’s a straightforward business and we don't try to sugarcoat it. We’re just here on the link road, putting in the hours and making sure our products get to where they need to go. It is tough work, but it pays the bills and keeps the local guys employed.
