Our place is at Plot Number 16, Door Number 2, on Ayya Nagar Adhishanakarar Street in Sembakam, Chennai. It’s a bit of a long street name to remember, but once you’re in Sembakam, it’s not too hard to find us. We are Pelican Realty Ventures Pvt Ltd, and this is where we handle all our real estate business. The office is on the ground floor, which makes it easy for people to just walk in from the street. We have a small porch out front where we sometimes sit if the weather isn't too hot. Inside, it’s mostly just desks and maps of the local area pinned to the walls. We spend a lot of time on the phone or out visiting sites, so the office is often empty for parts of the day. When we are here, it’s usually a lot of paperwork and talking through details. Chennai gets very humid, so we have a couple of noisy AC units that we keep running. The street outside is mostly residential, so it’s relatively quiet compared to the main roads. We’ve lived and worked in this part of Chennai for a long time, so we know the lanes and the people around here quite well. We don't have any big fancy brochures or a glossy front desk. It’s just a practical space where we can get our work done and meet with people who need help with property stuff in the neighborhood.
