Welcome General Store

We are located inside the Navlakha Co Operative House Society, right at number 30 near Sahara Darwaja. Since we are inside a housing society, most of our customers are our neighbors who live just a few doors down. It is a convenient place for them to grab something they forgot while cooking or if they need a quick snack for their kids. We keep a variety of things like pens, notebooks, bread, and eggs. The shop is small and it can get a bit crowded when two or three families are in here at the same time. We have a lot of stuff hanging from the ceiling to save space, like packets of chips and plastic toys. It makes the place look a bit cluttered but we know where everything is. The noise from Sahara Darwaja is always there in the background, but inside the society, it is a little bit quieter. We open up early and stay open until quite late so people can stop by after they get home from work. Sometimes we just sit on the front step when it is quiet and watch the kids playing in the lane. We don't have a computer, we just use a calculator and some paper to do the bills. It is a simple life and we like being part of the community here. It is nice to be the place where people come to get their daily essentials without having to go too far.
