Chandni Stores

Living and working in Ambheta Vithhal Nagar Society 3 is pretty quiet compared to the main city. Our shop, Chandni Stores, is just a regular place where people from the society come to pick up things they forgot or need for dinner. I spend a lot of time checking the stock and making sure we have enough milk and bread in the mornings. It is a family thing, really. My son helps out when he is not at school. We know almost everyone who walks through the door by their first name. Sometimes we just sit and talk about the weather or how the local roads are getting fixed. The shelves are packed with all sorts of things, from soap to snacks. It can get a bit crowded in here when the kids come by after school looking for treats. We open early because that is when people are heading out for work. The afternoon is usually slow, so I might catch up on some cleaning or just rest for a bit. We’ve been at this location for quite a while now. It isn't a huge supermarket, just a local store for the people living nearby. We try to keep things simple and honest. If we don’t have something, we usually try to get it by the next time the person comes in. That is just how it goes here in the society. It is a good place to be.
