Tapodhani Food Products Llp is located in Surat. If you know the World Trade Centre near Udhna Darwaja, that’s where we are. We are up on the fifth floor in room 5009. Being on the Ring Road means it’s always loud with traffic and people moving around. It’s a very busy part of the city. Our space is mostly taken up by desks and samples of the food products we handle. We spend a lot of time looking at spreadsheets and talking to suppliers. It’s not the most glamorous job, but it’s what we do. The elevator in this building is sometimes slow, so we get to talk to the other people working on the fifth floor while we wait. Surat is a fast city and we have to keep up. We handle a lot of logistics to make sure the food products get where they are going. We don't have fancy decorations on the walls. It’s mostly just calendars and notes pinned up everywhere. Some days the humidity is really high and we all just sit around with the fans on. We aren't here to impress anyone with a big lobby. We are here to work. We’ve got our routine down and we stick to it. From the window, you can see the cars piled up at the junction. It reminds us how much is happening in the city while we’re up here doing our bit.
