Popbros Industries

Our place, Popbros Industries, is situated right in the Bhagwati Prints Compound. It is right next to the Anandnagar Society in Sagrampura, which makes it easy for most of our workers to get here on time. The compound is always full of noise from the machines and trucks coming in to pick up stuff. We have been here for years, and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we are usually too busy to bother with that. We just focus on the machines. Sometimes they break down, and we spend the whole afternoon with grease on our hands trying to fix them. It is not a clean office job. We deal with a lot of heavy materials and the floors get dusty pretty fast. My brother and I run the daily operations, and we have a handful of guys who have been with us since the start. We do not have a website that gets updated or anything like that. Most people just call us or show up at the gate. The heat inside the workshop gets pretty intense during the summer, so we keep the big doors open to catch whatever breeze comes through. We drink a lot of water and try to get the big jobs finished before the sun gets too high. It is a practical life. We do not have meetings about goals. We just look at what needs to be shipped out today and we do it. Sometimes we stay late when a big order comes in, but that is just how business goes.
