Surti Mondhvanik Wadi

This wadi is located on MG Road in Surat, which is one of the busiest streets you’ll find in this area. It’s an older building used for community gatherings and various events. We don’t have a fancy website or a marketing team; we just open the gates every day and handle whatever is scheduled. The space is large and open, which is good for big groups, but it takes a lot of effort to keep it clean. We’re often seen with brooms and buckets, washing down the floors after a big function is over. The noise from MG Road never really stops, so you can always hear the horns and the engines from inside the courtyard. It’s a simple place with a lot of character, mostly used by local families for their traditions. We have old metal fans on the ceilings and basic lighting that does the job. My family has been looking after this place for years, making sure the gates are locked at night and the water tanks are full in the morning. It’s not a modern venue with air conditioning or sleek furniture, but it’s a reliable spot that people in Surat have been coming to for a long time. We just take it one day at a time, managing the bookings and keeping the space ready for the next group. It gets a bit dusty being so close to the main road, but that's Surat for you. We just keep doing our work.
