Swastik Masala

Down at Road No. 4 in G.I.D.C. Sachin, you’ll find Swastik Masala at 4311/A. Working in a spice business in an industrial area like Sachin means your clothes always smell like cumin or coriander at the end of the shift. It is a very busy spot, and the trucks are always lining up on Road No. 4 to load or unload goods for all the different factories. Our facility is where we do all the grinding and mixing of the masalas. It can get quite dusty inside, and everyone ends up sneezing if the chili powder is being packed that day. We don't have a fancy showroom or anything; it’s just a place of work where we get the job done. The heat in Sachin can be pretty intense, especially with the grinding machines running, but we have some fans to keep the air moving as much as possible. We've been here for a long time, and we know all the regulars who come by to pick up their supplies. It’s a straightforward operation. We buy the raw spices, process them, and get them ready for the market. There isn't any big secret to it, just keeping the quality steady and making sure the bags are sealed properly. We don't do much in the way of advertising. Most people know where we are because of the smell of spices that carries down the road. It’s just us doing our work.
