Krishna Masala Hut

You can find us at G-1-2 in Central Plaza, right on Citylight Road in Surat 395007. We are near Om Tarace, which is a big building people know. Krishna Masala Hut is a small shop. We sell spices and some food items. It’s not a huge supermarket, just a couple of units in the plaza. I spend my days weighing out powders and packing them into bags. The smell in here is very strong because of all the cloves and chilies, but I’ve grown used to it over the years. We get a lot of regular customers from the apartments nearby. They come in for their monthly supply or just to get a packet of something they ran out of. We don’t have a fancy display. Most things are in jars on the shelves behind me. My wife helps with the accounts in the evenings. We aren’t trying to become a big brand or anything like that. We just like having a shop in Citylight Road. Sometimes the deliveries are late and the shelves look a bit empty, but we get by. It’s a simple life. If you need some real spices and you are in the Central Plaza area, we are usually behind the counter from morning until late evening.
