Boricha Shashikant

I'm Shashikant Boricha and I run things from this spot in Sayedpura, over in the Katargram area of Surat. My address is 12 1930, which can be a bit tricky to find if you aren't from around here, but most of the locals know the way. I’ve been working out of this space for a long time and it’s become like a second home to me. The building is older and has its quirks, like the way the door sticks sometimes when it’s raining. I don’t mind it though because it’s got character. Every morning I come in, start the tea, and get to work. It’s a busy neighborhood with people constantly moving back and forth between Katargram and the rest of the city. I see a lot of the same faces every day, which is nice. I don't really believe in making things look more impressive than they are. It’s just a practical workspace where I get things done for the people who need it. Sometimes I’m here late into the evening because there’s always one more thing to finish up. I try to keep the place tidy but with so much going on, it usually looks a bit lived-in. That’s just how it goes when you’re actually working hard. If you ever need to find me, just look for the old sign near the corner. It's not a flashy office, just me and my desk.
