Sri Ramachandra Stores

We are situated right on the Udhna Magdalla Road, near the Baroda Express Highway 101. It is a very busy location because of all the travelers and locals passing through. The store is packed with all sorts of items, from snacks to household things you might run out of. We spend a lot of our day just unpacking boxes and putting things on the shelves. It feels like as soon as we put something out, someone buys it. The noise from the highway is constant, especially the big trucks that rattle the windows. We have a small counter where we stand most of the day. My back gets a bit sore from standing, but that is part of the job. We see a lot of different faces, some just stopping for a quick drink while driving to Baroda, and others who live just around the corner. We try to keep things organized, but it gets messy when we are busy. We don't have a computer system that does everything, so we do a lot of it by hand. It is a basic shop, nothing special to look at, but we have what people are looking for. Usually, we close up late and then have to do it all over again the next morning. It is a fast life by the highway but we like being right in the middle of it.
