You can find Shreenathji Farshan & Sweets over in the Surat Swastik Society area. We have been operating from this location for quite a while now. It’s a neighborhood spot through and through. In the mornings, we are usually busy getting the snacks ready. The smell of frying farshan travels pretty far down the street. We don’t have a big corporate office or anything. It is just the kitchen and the front counter where we put the trays out. Swastik Society is a nice place to be, and we have gotten to know a lot of the families around here. Sometimes the shop gets really crowded and it’s hard to move around, but we just keep going. We don’t spend money on fancy signs or decor. The shelves are plain and the lighting is just what was already there. Shreenathji Farshan & Sweets is mostly about the work we do every day. We don’t have a big philosophy or anything like that. We just wake up, start the fryers, and wait for the first people to come in. It’s a lot of standing on your feet and dealing with the heat from the stoves. Some days are slower than others, which gives us time to clean up or organize the back room. We just keep it simple and honest.
