We've been at Kim Char Rasta 101 for a long time now. The workshop gets pretty loud with the machines running most of the day, but that’s just how it is here. Most people find us because they need something fixed or a part made that they can't get elsewhere. It isn't a fancy place with a big office or air conditioning. You’ll mostly see us in grease-stained shirts working on whatever came in that morning. Sometimes the traffic outside gets stuck at the junction, and we just watch the cars go by while taking a tea break. We handle a lot of metalwork and repair jobs for the local guys nearby. It’s dusty work, and our hands are rarely clean by the end of the shift. We started with just a couple of lathes and basic tools. Over the years, we added a few more things as needed. We don't spend money on signs or ads because everyone in the area knows where we are located. Usually, someone just walks in with a broken piece of machinery and asks if it can be welded or turned. We take a look, tell them when it’ll be ready, and get back to it. It’s a simple setup. If you come by, you’ll probably find us near the back bench. The floor is concrete and scarred from years of heavy parts being moved around. It’s just a place where things get built and fixed daily without any fuss.
