Shree Datar Engineering Works

We have been running this engineering workshop in Sanathal, near the Ichhapore post, for a good number of years now. It is a simple place with a lot of heavy machinery and the smell of grease. My brother and I started it together because we always liked taking things apart and putting them back together. Most of our days are spent welding or cutting metal for whatever project comes through the door. It gets quite loud in here once the machines are running, and you have to yell to be heard. We don't have a front desk or a receptionist; you just walk in and find one of us covered in dust. The floor is concrete and usually has some scrap metal lying around. People from around Ichhapore know us as the place to go when a part breaks on their tractor or some industrial tool. We aren't trying to be some big corporation. We just want to do the work and make sure it holds up. Sometimes the rain leaks a little near the back window, but we’ve got a bucket there for that. We usually drink tea outside in the afternoon when the sun isn't too hot. It's a regular life and we are happy with it. Most of our tools are old but they still work better than the new ones you see today. We just keep our heads down and get the jobs done as they come.
