Shivam Engineering & Fabricaiton Works

We are over at 66 Shivkripa Society, right across from the SMC Community Hall on GHB Road in Udhana. It’s a local neighborhood. Our workshop is usually noisy because of the fabrication work. You can hear the welding and the metal clanging from the street. We’ve been in Udhana for years. The shop floor is always covered in iron shavings and bits of scrap metal. We wear our work clothes and they usually have some grease on them by noon. It gets hot in the shed, especially when the machines are running all day. We do a lot of small jobs for people nearby and some bigger stuff too. The community hall across the road always has something going on, weddings or meetings, so there are always people walking by. Our sign is a bit faded from the sun. We don't spend much time in the office part; we’re usually out where the tools are. My hands are usually stained with something or other. We have a small tea break under the tree outside when it gets too hot. It’s basic engineering work. We take the metal, cut it, weld it, and put it together. Nothing fancy about it. We just try to get the pieces straight and the welds strong. That’s how we’ve always done it here in the society. It’s just a regular day of work for us.
