Satnam Plastic

Satnam Plastic is our little place over at Saroli Vasanth Nagar Estate, 13th Cross. We deal with all kinds of plastic items and scraps. The area is mostly industrial, so there are always trucks moving around 13th Cross. Our shed is quite large but it’s always crowded with bags and rolls of material. It smells like plastic in here, which you get used to after a while. I spend most of my day moving things around or talking to the guys who bring in the loads. We aren't a big corporation. It's just a few of us working together. The Vasanth Nagar Estate gets quite busy in the mornings. We have an old desk where we keep our papers and a phone that rings occasionally. Sometimes the machines act up and we have to fix them ourselves. We don't have a big sign, just the address painted on the door. It’s a bit messy with bits of plastic on the floor, but we sweep up at the end of the week. Most of our visitors are people we’ve known for years. We don’t really bother with fancy talking or sales pitches. You just come in, see what we have, and we figure it out. It is a practical business. We’ve been at this spot for a while and don’t plan on moving. It’s just how we live. The sun hits the roof pretty hard in the day.
