We are out in Piparia Industrial Estate at 204/1. It’s a bit of a drive from the main town, and you’re mostly surrounded by large factories and warehouses. The roads are built for big trucks, so it feels a bit empty if you’re just walking around. Our unit is one of the many concrete buildings in the estate. Inside, it’s mostly open space where we handle all the international stuff. There’s a lot of heavy lifting and moving pallets around. The office part is just a small corner with some glass partitions that don't really block out the sound of the machines. We spend a lot of time looking at shipping documents and checking the time zones for different places. It’s not a place where you’d come to relax. The air always has that industrial smell, and there’s a fine layer of dust on the windowsills no matter how often we wipe them down. We have a small area where we keep the water cooler and a microwave for lunch. Most of the guys here wear work boots because of the heavy gear. We don't have fancy decor, just some calendars on the wall and a few old chairs. It’s a practical place for a practical job. We start early when the mist is still over the fields nearby and usually wrap up when the sun starts to set over the industrial sheds.
