Hardik Poly Containers Pvt. Ltd. is located at Plot no. 19, Survey No. 121-P, along the 66 Kva Road. It’s a pretty straightforward place. We make plastic containers of all sorts. When the machines are heating up the plastic, the whole building gets a bit of a sweet, burnt smell. It’s not a bad smell, just what we’re used to. The plot is right on the main road, so we hear the trucks passing by all day. We have stacks of containers piled up almost to the ceiling sometimes. It looks a bit messy, but there is a system to where everything goes. The floor is concrete and has some scuffs from the forklifts. We don’t have any big corporate signs inside, just some safety notices taped to the walls. Most of us live nearby and walk or ride a bike to get here. The 66 Kva Road is always busy, especially in the evenings. We spend our time checking the molds and making sure the plastic is setting right. If a container comes out wonky, we just toss it back into the scrap pile. It’s basic manufacturing. We don't have a receptionist or a lobby; you just walk in and find someone on the floor. We’re usually busy with a machine or moving a pallet. It’s just a normal day at Plot 19.
