Rudrani Plastic Industries

Our place, Rudrani Plastic Industries, is at B-8 in the Aminajar Industrial Estate. We are right on 66 Kva Road, which makes it easy for the big trucks to get in and out. The machines we use for the plastic are quite big and they make a lot of noise when they are running. It usually smells a bit like melting plastic around here, which is something you just get used to after a few days. We have bags of raw pellets stacked up in the corner ready to be poured into the hoppers. It’s not the cleanest job in the world, as there is always a bit of plastic dust or scrap pieces under the machines. We spend most of our time watching the molds and making sure the shapes are coming out right. If the temperature isn't just right, the whole batch can get messed up. It gets pretty warm in the middle of the summer, but we keep the fans going as much as we can. There isn't a lot of space for sitting around. We are usually on our feet moving from one machine to the next or packing the finished plastic goods into bags. We don't really do anything fancy here, just basic manufacturing. People in the estate know us as the ones who are always working late to finish an order. It’s a solid business and we just keep at it.
